COVID-19 Response:


As the world begins to gradually reopen, we are excited to invite you back to the Whistle Stop Inn Bed and Breakfast.  When you are ready to travel again, we recognize that you will understandably have a heightened awareness and expectation of cleanliness. While cleanliness has always been of the utmost importance to us, below are some changes we want to address for the safety of our guests:


  •  Social distancing measures will be implemented, throughout the Inn.
  •  Enhanced sanitation procedures will be in place throughout the Inn. 
  •  Thorough cleaning protocols will be implemented in guest rooms. If possible, guest rooms will not be entered for 24 hours after check-out, at which time the room, linens and all touch points, for example, faucets, door handles, light switches, clocks, hangers will be cleaned with chemicals aimed at killing COVID-19.
  • All bed linen and laundry will be washed at a high temperature and in accordance with CDC guidelines. Dirty linen will be bagged in the guest room to eliminate excess contact while being transported to the laundry facility.
  • Unnecessary items will be removed from guest rooms, such as decorative pillows, extra pillows or blankets. These items will be available by request.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available in each guest room and in public areas throughout the Inn.
  • Masks will be provided for each guest. 
  • Email check in and check out instructions and online reservations will minimize guest contact with Inn owners.
  • Owners will follow strict guidelines, including wearing masks and gloves, and frequent hand washing.


SAFETY:

We want to keep our guests as safe as possible during their stay. We ask our guest to follow health guidelines regarding the spread of the virus, and we will do everything possible to make your stay with us a safe experience.


  • For the safety of other guests and the owners, stay home if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to someone that tested positive for COVID-19.


BREAKFAST:

Ensuring the safety of our customers is important especially given the current situation with COVID-19. Therefore, we have modified our breakfast experience to offer different options based on our guest needs or preferences. 


     o OPTION 1: Guests may select a scheduled time to have breakfast served in the parlor. 

     o OPTION 2: Guests may choose to have breakfast delivered to their room, at a pre-selected time.

     o OPTION 3: Guests may choose grab-n-go bag to pick up from designated area.
